How does an osteopath visit work?

The first part of the appointment is getting to know the patient. What does it mean: the osteopath asks you about diseases, surgeries and injuries; if there were pregnancy and childbirth, he will find out how they proceeded.

Then the osteopath conducts an examination. Thus, he reveals violations of the musculoskeletal system and internal organs. After that, the treatment procedure begins: the osteopath, with the help of his hands, tries to understand how the patient’s state of health as a whole was disturbed and as a result of which the disease arose. Then, using special techniques, he removes this cause.

After receiving an osteopath, in most cases, there is an improvement in well-being. But sometimes (for chronic diseases) a slight exacerbation of symptoms is possible, which disappears on its own within two to three days. This is due to the fact that the body adapts to its new functional capabilities.
